Sterilzation and Infection Control

We follow strict sterilization and infection control procedures. Every instrument that touches a patient is either disposable or goes through an ultrasonic machine to shake off debris. It then goes through and dryer and then a hospital grade steam/pressure/heat sterilizer. This sterilzation machine is checked daily with spore tests to ensure that proper heat levels are reached. Everything in the dental room that may be touched is either barriered with plastic or is wiped down with hospital grade disinfectant that is proven to kill tuberculosis, HIV, hepatitis and polio as well as other viruses and bacteria. These procedures are carried out after every patient leaves the room and are included in the cost of your dental treatment. You usually do not see this part of our job but rest assured we take this responsibilty seriously.
